I grew up in a child care providing home and when my, now 15 year old, was heading to half-day kindergarten and I couldn't find a way to get him to school & back while I was at work, I decided I should "try" to open my own child care and "see how it goes." Ten years later, here we are and I LOVE what I do. I almost wish I'd done it from the beginning, but I do think it's important for me to have been a working mom at one point, so that I can relate to the challenges that working parents face.
I have 3 children of my own, and we're working on becoming as eco-friendly as possible. It's a learning process! Using organic whenever we can, recycling, cloth diapering (my own... I've yet to have a daycare baby in cloth, but you never know!)
